Due to the strict regulations of the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which comes into force on 12 August 2026, as well as the laws on extended producer responsibility (EPR), selling and shipping to certain EU countries has become extremely bureaucratic and financially unsustainable for independent artists. The regulations require foreign traders to appoint an official local authorised representative for each individual EU country to handle licensing and administrative procedures. Together with the mandatory registration and membership fees for the respective packaging recycling schemes, this results in enormous fixed annual costs per country, which are out of all proportion to small sales volumes.
I am therefore unfortunately obliged to decline sales to the EU (with the exception of Germany).
